妙語佳句，活學活用

1. Let's hit it

這一句就相當于漢語中的"走吧"，意思是"let's go, or let's do it"。Hit 是一個老美很喜歡用的詞，表示"開始去做某事"。例如搖滾樂團的主唱常會看看吉他手， 鍵盤手， 貝斯手準備好了沒， 如果大家都準備好了的話， 他就會大喊一聲："Let's hit it."

2. Lay off

這里的意思是"解雇"，例如：When they lost the contract, they had to lay off a hundred workers.
