1. adore
Adore 有好幾種意思，我們一起來看一下：
A. If you adore someone, you feel great love and admiration for him or her. 敬愛，敬重；愛慕
e.g. She adored her parents and would do anything to please them.
B. If you adore something, you like it very much. 非常喜歡，癡迷
e.g. I adore apple very much and eat two a day.
2. make an offer
這是口語中很常用的詞組，其意義取決于作為名詞的offer一詞的不同含義，如在電影《情歸巴黎》中有一句臺詞是：
You never said a word about planning to make an offer to Patrick. （關(guān)于你要跟Patrick合并的事情你一個字都沒提過。）
這里的翻譯是意譯，我們可以看出來make an offer是"出價"的意思。

If you end up doing something or end up in a particular state, you do that thing or get into that state even though you did not originally intend to.
