中共中央總書記胡錦濤6月25日發(fā)表重要講話強(qiáng)調(diào)，我們要堅(jiān)持以鄧小平理論和“三個(gè)代表”重要思想為指導(dǎo)，深入貫徹落實(shí)科學(xué)發(fā)展觀，繼續(xù)解放思想，堅(jiān)持改革開(kāi)放，推動(dòng)科學(xué)發(fā)展，促進(jìn)社會(huì)和諧，為奪取全面建設(shè)小康社會(huì)新勝利而奮斗。

“We should persevere in taking Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents" as the guidance, carry out the scientific outlook (or concept) on development in a deep-going way, adhere to the emancipation of the mind adamantly, persist in spurring the reform and opening to the outside world, promote the scientific development and social harmony perseveringly, and persist in working for the all-round construction of a society, in which people will enjoy a fairly affluent and comfortable life. ” Chinese President Hu Jintao June 25 stressed.

胡錦濤說(shuō)，解放思想，是黨的思想路線的本質(zhì)要求，是我們應(yīng)對(duì)前進(jìn)道路上各種新情況新問(wèn)題、不斷開(kāi)創(chuàng)事業(yè)新局面的一大法寶，必須堅(jiān)定不移地加以堅(jiān)持。改革開(kāi)放，是解放和發(fā)展社會(huì)生產(chǎn)力、不斷創(chuàng)新充滿活力的體制機(jī)制的必然要求，是發(fā)展中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義的強(qiáng)大動(dòng)力，必須堅(jiān)定不移地加以推進(jìn)。科學(xué)發(fā)展，社會(huì)和諧，是發(fā)展中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義的基本要求，是實(shí)現(xiàn)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)又好又快發(fā)展的內(nèi)在需要，必須堅(jiān)定不移地加以落實(shí)。全面建設(shè)小康社會(huì)，是我們黨和國(guó)家到2020年的奮斗目標(biāo)，是全國(guó)各族人民根本利益所在，必須堅(jiān)定不移地為之奮斗。

The emancipation of the mind poses an essential demand of the Party's ideological line as well as a magic weapon with which we use to respond to new circumstances and new problems and keep up opening the new cause and new situations, and we must keep to it unflinchingly and unswervingly.

Reform and opening-up constitute an inevitable requirement for liberating and developing social productive forces and for continuously innovating the vigorous structural mechanism, and a powerful motive force in developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, and it should be advanced or spurred adamantly

Scientific development and social harmony represent a basic demand for developing socialism with Chinese characteristics and an intrinsic requirement to produce the better and faster development of an economic society, and it has to be implemented resolutely and perseveringly.

Finally, the all-round construction of a relatively well-off society implies the goal the CPC and the state has all along striven to accomplish till the year 2020, and this is where lie the fundamental interest of the whole nation and the people of all ethnicities in China, and it is also what we should work for jointly and unflinchingly.

胡錦濤指出，在當(dāng)前國(guó)際國(guó)內(nèi)形勢(shì)下，我國(guó)發(fā)展面臨的機(jī)遇前所未有，面對(duì)的挑戰(zhàn)也前所未有。我們要清醒認(rèn)識(shí)當(dāng)今世界和當(dāng)代中國(guó)發(fā)展的大勢(shì)，全面把握我國(guó)發(fā)展的新要求和人民群眾的新期待，科學(xué)制定適應(yīng)時(shí)代要求和人民愿望的行動(dòng)綱領(lǐng)和大政方針。

"Under the current international backdrop, China faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges, which require us to have a clear view of today's China and the world, meet new demands of development and new expectations of the public, draw experience and make scientific guidelines," said Hu.

胡錦濤說(shuō)："我們黨的根本宗旨是全心全意為人民服務(wù)，黨的一切奮斗和工作都是為了造福人民，要始終把實(shí)現(xiàn)好、維護(hù)好、發(fā)展好最廣大人民的根本利益作為黨和國(guó)家一切工作的出發(fā)點(diǎn)和落腳點(diǎn)，做到發(fā)展為了人民、發(fā)展依靠人民、發(fā)展成果由人民共享"。

Hu said: "Our Party's fundamental goal is to serve the people wholeheartedly. All our Party's endeavors and work are to benefit the people. We must always fully realize, safeguard and develop the fundamental interests of the broad masses of the people, regarding it as a starting point and the purpose of all of the work of the Party and country. We must be able to develop for the people, rely on the people to attain development, and let the people share the fruits of development."
