2. bestow bestow的意思是"贈與；給與"。bestow charity和bestow an
honor是經常用到的。平常使用的時候，一定要注意要和以下幾個詞區分開來： A: Give 是最平常、最普通、最口語化的"給"。比如：give me an
apple。 B: Confer 雖然也有"給與"的意思，但這種"給"一般是有上下級的關系的時候才會使用。比如：Confer a college
degree。 C: Donate 一般用做捐贈來講，比如：donate a great sum of money to the school。
3. fine
prints 這是一個法律上的常用詞匯，意思是"意思不清的話"。比如在甲乙雙方簽訂合同的時候，有時我們會發現合同中出現一些模糊的條款。fine
prints 指的就是這些條款。那么"很多人喜歡鉆法律的空子"，就可以說：Some businessmen always take advantage of
the fine prints to make a fast buck.
4. That's
final 意思是"好了，到此為止吧！"經常是雙方發生口角或爭執的時候用。如："別再說了，就這么定了。"就可直接說成"That's final."
5. hit traffic 很少會有學生把這個短語用的很好，因為在大家的腦子當中有一個根深蒂固的短語：be in the traffic
jam！即使已經學過了很多遍的hit traffic，再塞車的時候，大家還會脫口而出："I'm in the traffic jam."
當然這種表達是對的，但卻不是最口語化的。那么在看完這個片段之后，希望大家一定要記住這個非常地道的用法：hit traffic。除此之外，還可以用I'm
stuck in the traffic來替換。
6. oops 很小的詞，意思是"啊呀"！。比如差點把郵件發錯了對象，這時就可以說："Oops, I almost sent the e-mail
to the wrong guy."
