Located along the Longtan Lake Park on Southeast Second Ring Road, Wan Liu Ge (Willow Pavilion) Restaurant is designed like a traditional courtyard house, with a beautiful lake view.
The restaurant offers home-style Chinese cuisine. But the best item here is, interestingly, a simple, deep-fried flour dough stick, which is crispy and soft, and has a pleasant smell. It is served with turnip pickles and is a must-try. Braised beef wrapped with lotus leaf, with a saucer of sauce, is also recommended. Also try roast pigeon and bean curd with mashed preserved duck yolk roasted in foil.
