Sugababes ditch sweet-girl look for sexy couture makeover

The Sugababes have unveiled their new look with a sexy video featuring a complete image overhaul.

Having outgrown their trademark girl-next-door look, the trio has opted for a more sophisticated and mature style, hiring a team of stylists to help reinvent themselves for the promotion of their latest album.

A source told the Daily Star: "The Babes were keen to do something more mature on this video.

"They're no longer girls, they're ladies now.

"The influences range from golden age of Hollywood glamour to vintage Chanel. But overall I would say it's Elizabethan style meets haute couture."

The makeover comes after a gruelling year for the girls, especially for troubled singer Amelle Berrabah.
