An Australian official tosses a wreath into
the sea as survivors and relatives of the 26 December 2004 victims mark
the first anniversary of the disaster at Patong beach, in Phuket, southern
Thailand, Monday December 26, 2005. Thousands tossed flowers into the sea
and hugged each other to fight off tears as they gathered in this Thai
resort to remember their loved ones killed a year ago.
