Local villager Li Ziquan collects a bottle filled with contaminated water
near a paper-producing factory in Jixian County, a noted historic and cultural
district in North China's Tianjin Municipality. Dozens of polluting factories
have moved into the area in recent years, causing some of the district's
beautiful scenic spots to become smelly and dirty.
