Paul Pierce nailed a jumper at the buzzer to give the Boston Celtics a 90-88 victory over Portland at the FleetCenter.

Pierce, who scored 20 points, hit the step-back jump shot moments after he was poked in the eye by Portland rookie Sebastian Telfair while fighting for a rebound at the other end.

In Philadelphia, Corliss Williamson scored seven of his 15 points in overtime, leading the 76ers to a 108-100 win over the New Jersey Nets at the Wachovia Center.

Allen Iverson, whose jumper tied the game with 7.2 seconds left in regulation, paced the Sixers with 26 points and Marc Jackson added 19 in the win, Philadelphia's first in four games.

Meanwhile in the capital, Antawn Jamison and Larry Hughes each scored 26 points to lead Washington to a 106-96 victory over Orlando in a Southeast division matchup at the MCI Center.

Jamison finished 10-fo-20 from the floor and added a game-high 11 rebounds for the Wizards, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Elton Brand scored a game-high 19 points and hauled down 16 rebounds in Indianapolis, while Bobby Simmons netted 18 as the Los Angeles Clippers routed the Indiana Pacers, 102-68, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Corey Maggette added 13 points and Mikki Moore contributed 16 off the bench for Los Angeles, which snapped a 11-game road losing streak at Indiana.

LeBron James poured in a game-high 38 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 24, leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-109 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns at Gund Arena.

Drew Gooden contributed 16 points and a career-high 21 rebounds, while Jeff McInnis chipped in 17 points for Cleveland, who have won two straight after opening the season with three straight losses.

Desmond Mason came off the bench and poured in a game-high 31 points and Michael Redd scored 26, as the Milwaukee Bucks rallied to beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 102-100, at the Bradley Center.

Keith Van Horn netted 23 and Maurice Williams added eight with 10 boards for the Bucks, who have won two straight. Joe Smith contributed seven points and 10 rebounds in the win.

Pau Gasol scored 22 points and Shane Battier added 18 as Memphis earned its first victory of the season with a 110-87 whipping of the Los Angeles Lakers at FedEx Forum.

Jason Williams compiled 17 points and six assists for the Grizzlies, who began the year with four consecutive defeats. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 20 points but finished just 4-of-19 from the floor.

Tim Duncan posted 23 points, 18 rebounds and five blocked shots to lead the San Antonio Spurs over Golden State, 91-71, at SBC Center. Manu Ginobili added 22 points for the Spurs, who led the whole way for their third win in four games this season. San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich picked up career victory No. 399.

Chris Bosh scored 20 points to lead the Toronto Raptors to a 104-95 victory over the previously-unbeaten Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.

Vince Carter had 16 points and Loren Woods netted 14 for Toronto, which rebounded from its first loss of the season on Tuesday versus the Sacramento Kings. The Raptors also ended a two-game slide in Utah.

Ray Allen scored 20 points to lead Seattle to an easy 108-78 win over Sacramento at KeyArena. Rashard Lewis added 18 points and eight boards and Luke Ridnour netted 17 for the SuperSonics, who have won four straight games since opening their season with a loss.
