The Standing Committee of China's top legislature will deliberate draft amendments to the Constitution in a meeting starting Dec. 22.

The sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) will discuss proposals made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the amendments to the constitution, and deliberate draft amendments, according to a meeting of NPC Standing Committee chairman and vice-chairmen Tuesday.
