Back-to-back suicide bombings by suspected Palestinian militants at a shopping center in an Israeli town and outside a Jewish settlement killed two victims and wounded several others on Tuesday, police said.

Following is a list of some suicide bombings through nearly 35 months of the Palestinian uprising against Israel's occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Death tolls below do not include the bombers themselves:

-- A second bomber kills one person and wounds several at the West Bank settlement of Ariel.

Aug 12 -- One person killed, at least six wounded in suicide bombing at a grocery store in the central Israeli town of Rosh Ha'ayin.

July 7 -- Woman is killed and her home leveled by Palestinian suicide bomber in Yabetz, north of Tel Aviv.

June 11 -- 17 killed, at least 100 wounded, when suicide bomber blows up bus near open-air market in central Jerusalem. Hamas says responsible.

March 5 -- At least 17 killed and about 40 wounded in explosion on bus in Haifa.

Jan 5 -- 23 killed, more than 100 wounded in two Tel Aviv blasts.

2002

Nov 21 -- Eleven killed on bus in Jerusalem suburb of Kiryat Menahem. At least 49 wounded.

Oct 21 -- Car bomb explodes next to bus between Hadera and Afula. Fourteen killed, 50 wounded.

June 18 -- Nineteen killed, more than 50 wounded on bus packed with schoolchildren and commuters in Jerusalem.

June 5 -- Seventeen killed, dozens wounded at Megiddo junction by car bomb next to bus. Islamic Jihad claims attack.

May 7 -- Fifteen killed, 60 hurt at snooker club in Rishon Lezion south of Tel Aviv.

March 31 -- Fifteen killed, 44 hurt at restaurant run by Israeli Arabs in Haifa. Second suicide attack wounds six at Jewish settlement of Efrat in West Bank.

March 27 -- Suicide bomber blows himself up in hotel in Netanya resort, killing 29 and wounding more than 100 -- worst single attack in the uprising to date.

March 9 -- Thirteen killed, more than 50 hurt in crowded cafe near Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Jerusalem residence.

2001

Dec 2 -- Suicide bomber kills 15 and wounds 40 when blowing himself up on Haifa bus.

Dec 1 -- At least 10 Israelis killed and more than 150 hurt in Palestinian suicide bombing and car bomb attack in Jerusalem.

Aug 9 -- Fifteen killed in Jerusalem pizza restaurant.

June 1 -- Twenty-two killed as teenagers wait to enter Tel Aviv nightclub.

2000

Oct 26 -- Soldier hurt near Israeli army post in Gaza Strip in first suicide bombing since start of the uprising.
