La vie en Grace, la vie en Chinese dresses

Li Shaoping, minister-counselor at the embassy, noted that Chen's works showed the talent and creativeness of the young generation of Chinese designers. The exhibition is a gift to all the women to celebrate the International Women’s Day on March 8.

Chen once studied and worked in the US for about 10 years and founded Grace Chen in 2009. She combines Western couture techniques with traditional Chinese craftsmanship in her dresses. At 2014 APEC summit in Beijing, Chen was one of the main designers for the leaders.
