EXO and BIGBANG win big at MAMA 2015

It was the battle of the boybands at this year's Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which took centerstage in Hong Kong on Wednesday.

South Korean boyband EXO and BIGBANG each grabbed four awards and became the big winners of the night.

EXO took home Album of the Year, Best Male Group, Best Asian Style, and Global Fans Choice for Male artists, while BIGBANG was crowned Artist of the Year, Worldwide Favorite Artist, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video.

BIGBANG member T.O.P was so ecstatic, he tried to say thank you in every language he knew. Fellow bandmate Taeyang articulated what the awards meant to the band.

"We received many great awards this year with great support from our fans. For us, MAMA has always been like a finale. We are truly thankful for the awards we won today. We will continue to do our best."
