Seniors setting pace on run to wellness

Running marathons has fired up a Zhengzhou senior couple's zest for life.

Every day for the past 10 years, Wang Hongmei and her husband Liu Xin, both 69, have been rising at 5 am to run the streets in the capital city of Henan province.

"The city has wide streets and a lot of green space so it is very suitable for running. We know the specific time when we see the lamps turning off. We don't have to look at a watch," said Wang, who was plagued by hypertension for years before taking up running.
