Obama proves American dream

Comment on "Democrat Barack Obama wins US presidency" (China Daily website, Nov 5)

Obama was born to a hard working immigrant family that realized the American dream. He studied hard, worked hard and fought his entire life for what he has learned. Obama becoming the next president of the United States is, to me, one more proof that the United States truly does allow anyone, regardless of background, to realize their full potential.
