Service industry set for accelerated growth

GUANGZHOU: The Guangzhou municipal government will accelerate the development of its service industry to boost the growth of other industries, according to local and provincial plans.

Improving services come as a result of the city's industrial development and also provide a means to further growth.

The provincial government has requested the capital city to make itself into a model for services, science and technology, conventions, logistics and advanced manufacturing industries for the whole province.
