Police dog finds owner of lost bag

There are always some passengers who leave their luggage in railway stations, but a man on his way home during this Spring Festival was lucky enough to get his bag back because of a clever dog.

A police officer, surnamed Lin, found a bag in front of the Fuzhou railway station in Fujian province on the morning of Jan 27. To identify the bag owner as soon as possible, Lin directed his police dog to track the owner through smell. The animal traced the smell and found the bag owner, surnamed Chen, among thousands of passengers.

Chen said he forgot one of his bags when he was busy buying the ticket. "The new clothes for my son were in the lost bag. Thanks to the help of police, my son can now wear new clothes in the new year," he said with gratitude.
