After widespread publicity, the pair will be taking the exam on July 2 and 3 with 13 universities, including Tsinghuan University, Macau University of Science and Technology and Nanchang University, having already made them offers.
Xiao Hui, director of Jiangxi Education Examination Authority, said the brave young men would sit the exam by using backup question papers.
