Valdis Dombrovskis, Prime Minister of Latvia to China talks to chinadaily.com.cn, giving his comment of China's great achievements during the past decades and expectation of the country's new leadership and future after the 18^th CPC National Congress.

If you look at China's development in the last decade, you could say it's really very impressive and almost unmatched or at least unmatched for a large country. For a major, surely the biggest country in the world in terms of population, it's a very impressive achievement.

Under the current leadership, the development (of China-Latvia relations) has been really good. We have had, as I mentioned, very intensive political dialogue. So I would expect this to continue in this positive manner, and certainly I see more potential in developing economical cooperation and also people-to-people contact.
