A woman in Xiaogan, Hubei province, is well known to her neighbors and colleagues because her hair is 1.4-meters long.

Tang, 40, grew her hair for eight years and her glossy black hair now falls to her knees.

"I used to go to hairdressers to have my hair done but I felt dissatisfied with the styles. So I stopped going there and just let my hair grow.

Over the past eight years, I have washed my hair twice a week. After each washing my husband combs it for me. I really enjoy his gently combing," Tang said.
