The Third Session of the 11th National People's Congress will be convened at the Great Hall of the People, one of the landmark buildings in the capital city of Beijing. It is used mainly for legislative and ceremonial activities, such as passing laws or hosting state dinners for visiting leaders. The hall today also is used for business promotions or entertainment performances, making it truly the hall of the people.
