SYDNEY: Australian business capability will be on show at Shanghai World Expo 2010, one of the largest events ever to be staged in China.

Austrade's China country manager Christopher Wright said on Monday Australian business will make an important contribution to the staging of Expo.

"As well as a great platform to showcase Australia's culture and lifestyle to the world, it is also an opportunity to promote Australia's business strengths," Wright said.

"Australian companies have won Expo related deals in areas as diverse as infrastructure and construction, sustainable design, education, and in the provision of artistic and cultural programs, " Wright added.
