To see grandkids, couple threatens sons with divorce

Updated: 2009-05-11 09:39 An elderly couple was so desperate to see their sons and grandchildren that they lied to them that they were fighting and wanted to get a divorce. Tian, 74, and his wife, 71, of Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province, have four sons who never visited them since they moved out and got married. Tian phoned his eldest son earlier this week and said he and his wife were planning to divorce. When the son showed up, his parents said they just wanted to see their grandchildren.
