HK govt to set 2 more flights for stranded travelers

"We were asleep at the time. It is a long story and I don't want to talk about it," she said. "Please help me and my husband get back to Hong Kong. I cannot communicate with" the local people.

Four officers of the Immigration Department and Yik's family members went to Phuket yesterday.

China's consul-general in Songkhla, Liu Guangcheng, arrived at the hospital to offer assistance.

"Chinese nationals there also offered condolence and comfort to Fung," said Deputy Consul-General Qin Jian.

Qin said details of the accident will be revealed today after staff of the consulate-general meet with Thailand police.

Security Chief Lee urged all stranded tourists to take the charter flights as soon as possible.

"I urge them not to stay there for a few days to have fun," he said. "It will be difficult for us to charter flights after that."
