7. Hybrid console and cloud gaming gathers pace
Nintendo's cloud-powered NX console is rumored to drop next year, with the device expected to be a hybrid type, enabling handheld, presumably portable, games alongside at-home console games. Other industry players such as Sony and Microsoft already have cloud infrastructure in place.
