The third World Internet Conference is taking place in Wuzhen, an ancient water town in Zhejiang province, and will end today. More than 310 tech companies, including big-name enterprises such as Alibaba, Tencent and Baidu are attending the summit.

China Daily launched an online vote called "whose voice do you want to hear most?" on Twitter-like microblogging service Sina Weibo.

At present, Jack Ma, founder and executive chairman of Alibaba Group, tops the vote count. A total of 317 internet users, each of whom could have?three choices at most,?have voted so far.?Jack Ma is ahead of the pack with 177 votes or 29.5 percent.

The counting of votes is still undergoing.

The conference, whose theme is "Innovation-driven Internet Development for the Benefit of All – Building a Community of Common Future in Cyberspace", includes 16 forums covering 20 hot issues, such as internet economy, internet innovation, internet culture, governance in cyberspace and international cooperation on internet.

In another vote called "which topic are you interested most?" initiated by China Daily's official Weibo, the top three are artificial intelligence (25 percent), internet security (21.8 percent) and?virtual reality (17.2 percent).
