Global firm Aon Hewitt announces China's best employers

Global leading professional services firm Aon Hewitt announced its 2017 Best Employers in China award on Tuesday, with 14 companies winning the title this year.

The winners are AIA China, Baxter (China) Investment, Becton Dickinson Medical Devices, CIFI Group, HNA Holding Group, Infinitus, McDonald's China, MSD China, Novartis Group China, Shanghai Disney Resort, Starbucks China, Taikang Pension & Insurance, The Ritz-Carlton Hotels China, and Wanhua Chemical Group.

Aon has been running this award in China since 2001.

Compared to the market average, the best employers have a 22 percent lower rate of staff turnover. Their employee loyalty is 13 percent higher than average and profit margin 28 percent more.

About 77 percent of the winners this year expressed confidence in China's economy, saying that the country will continue to see rapid economic growth. Only 40 percent of the award winners last year hold such positive views.

Peter Zhang, Greater China CEO of Aon Hewitt, said that this year's winners proactively have shed off rigidness that is characteristic of large companies, and have created a more empowered, autonomous, open, innovative and collaborative culture within their companies, which have contributed to their success in the human resources sector.
