China-Pakistan Entrepreneurs International Seminar opens in Beijing

Cai Fang,a member of NPC Standing Committee, member of Rural and Agriculture Committee, vice president of CASS, deputy head of RDI think tank project and deputy head of the group said in his speech that China and Pakistan economic corridor serves as the link to connect the "Silk Road economic belt" and "the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road". Also it is the important part of the strategic vision of "One Belt and One Road", and the flagship project initiated by "One Belt and One Road". Its success will lead to a key guidance and demonstration effect along the country, benefiting the entire region and the people along the route. China and Pakistan conduct closer high-level exchanges, deepen economic and trade cooperation, and reach a gradual upgrade of interconnection. Chinese enterprises hope to actively participate in Pakistan economic and social development. As the market player of foreign economic cooperation and the implementation subject of "One Belt and One Road" , Chinese enterprises are facing a historic opportunity to go out in a large-scale manner. Companies shall carry forward the spirit of the ancient Silk Road, integrate the development actively into the international trend, and take the economic and trade cooperation to drive cultural and science and technology exchanges, injecting new impetus for our open economy. Cai said that this international seminar provides a good opportunity. I hope to build bridges of cooperation through the training so that entrepreneurs of both countries could have a overall and objective understanding of the needs from both parties to enhance cooperation capacity, thus seeing more pro-active participations in the economic corridor construction.

Saleem Mandviwalla, Pakistan Senator, and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Senate said in his speech, the Pakistani people know very clearly the strategic significance of China-Pakistan economic corridor for both countries. Pakistan welcomed with open arms for China's investment. President Xi Jinping has rolled out great vision for people from China and Pakistan, and now the key points lie in action and implementation and to achieve the vision. Saleem ? Mandviwalla introduced in the RDI international think-tank platform, the joint efforts of think tank from both countries, entrepreneurs and relevant all walks of life have carried out a series of joint cooperation this year in Haikou, Karamay, Beijing and other places. On August 11-12 this year, Pakistan economic corridor Karamay Forum (2015), initiated by RDI international think tank project, was a good practice. Its theme is "Joint Negotiation of China-Pakistan Cooperation, Joint Building of a Prosperous Corridor and Sharing of Harmonious Development". In the forum, China and Pakistan signed 20 cooperation memorandums worth a total of 10.35 billion Yuan, and adopted the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor "Karamay Declaration", attracting international attention. The China-Pakistan Entrepreneurs Seminar is one of the important outcomes to implement , bridge a direct communication platform between enterprises of both sides to promote substantive project connection, also it prepares for the Karamay Forum (2016). This series of actions is a true portrayal of joint negotiation, joint building and shared relationships between two countries.

During promotion of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor building process, accurately grasping the characteristics and trends of related risks is a necessity to smoothly carry out the work. Through four merchantability arrangements of government collaboration, project planning, financing support, and risk protection, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has made a good start, related work is developing in an orderly manner, and a number of major projects have made staged progress.
