China's stocks slump on Thursday

BEIJING -- Chinese shares close down on Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.71 percent, or 46.94 points, at 2,703.35.
The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 2.11 percent, or 247.90 points, to 11,513.20.
