Red Hat Inc, the world's leading provider of open source solutions, yesterday announced the appointment of Andrew Hu (above) as president of Red Hat Operations in China. Hu will be responsible for overall operations, business development, marketing and sales in the region and will report to the president of Red Hat Asia-Pacific Operations, Gery Messer. Hu has been Asia-Pacific president at Wyse, a global leader in thin client computing solutions.
