Barnes Group Inc, a US-based aerospace and industrial components manufacturing and distribution company, said its distribution unit has opened an international sourcing center in Shanghai.

The Shanghai sourcing center, together with a previously established center in Taiwan Province, will cover the company's distribution business in Asia, Barnes said in a statement.
