China Life Insurance Company Limited has become the first member of the New York-based Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development (ACORD), a global nonprofit insurance association, in China by signing a agreement with the association in Beijing.

Vice president of China Life Wan Feng said the association is a famous professional association in insurance standardization.

On China's way to insurance standardization, China Life and the association would work closely to boost standardized management and to promote the standardization process of the whole industry.
