Mercedes-Benz New C-Class
The model made its world premiere at the 2014 Detroit show. With best-in-class aerodynamics and new, fuel-efficient engines, it consumes up to 20 percent less fuel than its predecessor.
The car has a 4,686 mm wheelbase. Three engine variants are available at the market launch - a diesel in the guise of the C 220 BlueTEC and two petrol models, C 180 and C 200.
The C180 is equipped with a 1.6 T engine, with peak power of 115 kW and top torque of 250 Nm. The C 200 has a 2.0 T engine that generates a peak power of 135 kW and a top torque of 300 Nm. A head-up display is also new to the C-Class.
