PICC Property approved to sell vehicle insurance by phone

PICC Property & Casualty Insurance Company, the country's largest non-life insurer, won approval from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission for the sale of its vehicle insurance by telephone. The go-ahead means PICC Property can sell its vehicle insurance policies through telemarketing across the country.

Vehicle owners can apply for the policies by simply calling the PICC Property special service hotline at 4008195518. People who buy commercial auto insurance by phone can enjoy a normal price discount and an extra discount as high as 15 percent.

In addition, "Auto Insurance Manager"exclusive service such as "Full-Process Insurance Adviser", "Free Home Delivery", "Quick Settlement of Claim" and "100 Percent Heartfelt Return Visit"are also available.

It is common practice to buy auto insurance by phone in the developed countries. In Britain for instance, more than 50 percent of vehicle owners choose to buy auto insurance by phone......
