Chongqing to adjust auto industry

Southwest China'sChongqingMunicipality will vigorously develop its auto parts industry and expand investment in technologies and new product research and development in an effort to optimize product structure.

The relevant governmental departments will also restrict market access and supervision levels. For newly established and existing complete vehicle enterprises that plan new investment projects in other products, they need to meet both industry policies and their own conditions.

For existing enterprises which want to set up plants in other areas, production and sales need to reach 80 percent of the approved capabilities.
