Macro: China economy not overheated

Although China has reported fixed asset investments growth at a rather high
rate, it could not come to the conclusion that the Chinese economy was
overheated in all respects, the Security Times reported, quoting a chief of the
concerned department of the National Development and Reform Commission
(NDRC). China's renowned economist Fan Gang forecast recently that the
country's overproduction in certain industries would last two years, and during
this period, profits of these industries would grow at a comparatively slow
pace.
