On Tuesday, a group of 10 teenagers and two teachers from Colorado, the United States, joined local teenagers from Chongqing at the Chongqing Zoo to plant "Panda Friendship Bamboos" and donated $100 raised through a charity sale for panda conservation.
The visit was part of the "Eagle City: China–US Youth Urban Exploration" program, an eight-day youth exchange that began on Monday. The program focuses on cultural exchange and hands-on learning about biodiversity and urban ecology in the southwestern municipality.
