Li said that Xiangxi will focus on making it the "second stop" for inbound tourism in Hunan. It will fully integrate into the "five routes" layout of the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area. Relying on transportation resources, it will accelerate the construction of a tourism transportation network that is "externally connected and internally smooth, with fast access and slow travel", Li added.
