Chinese ambassador to UK lauds new era of cooperation

Fang Wenjian, chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK) and general manager of the Bank of China London Branch, said China's economic achievements in 2025 enabled strong support for Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. Chinese enterprises in the UK have performed strongly over the last year, contributing to the economic growth of both countries and bilateral trade and investment cooperation, Fang said.

"CCCUK will continue to serve as a bridge for deepening practical cooperation between the two countries, and contribute to high-level opening-up, high-quality development and a strong start to the next stage of China's development," he added.
