World leaders criticize the US at Davos
Venezuela. Iran. Greenland. Even Canada. The Trump administration's ambitions keep expanding. But US allies are beginning to see the damage caused by America's unilateral approach to the global order. World leaders — especially from the West — are now openly criticizing recent US actions, warning that the global order itself could be at risk.
As Western leaders shift from complicity to criticism, the real question remains: Should we expect the US to "return to normal"? Or should we finally wake up and accept that a new world order is already taking shape?
But I seriously doubt the sincerity of these Western leaders. Only when they themselves become targets of US pressure do they start speaking out. Why didn't they speak up over Venezuela? These criticisms are not a wake-up call. They sound more like a pathetic plea — asking the US to bully others, instead of them.
