UBS optimistic about consumption at mid-to-high-end malls

Christine Peng, head of Greater China Consumer Sector of UBS, said during an interview with China Daily that since the second half of last year, there has been a noticeable recovery in high-end shopping malls, and the trend may continue in 2026. Looking at the overall layout of the consumer industry, sectors with structural growth opportunities, such as jewelry, tea drinks, and pets, are recommended.
