5.8-magnitude quake jolts Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit Taitung County of China's Taiwan at 5:47 pm Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 22.86 degrees north latitude and 121.12 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center said.
