Half marathon route along Suzhou Creek in Putuo

The Suzhou Creek Half Marathon covers 21 kilometers and provides runners and visitors a lively way to explore Shanghai's Putuo district, blending riverside views, urban culture, and everyday life along one of Shanghai's historic waterways.

The route connects several well-known landmarks. Tian'an 1000 Trees exhibits a forest-inspired architectural style that blends greenery with public space, whereas M50 Creative Park, once an industrial complex, has evolved into a cluster of galleries, studios, and contemporary art venues.

Runners also pass Hong Shou Fang, a commercial hub revitalized from historic Shikumen lane houses, and the Environmental Theme Park of Suzhou River Mengqing Garden, an important location for ecological restoration and waterfront leisure.

Other highlights include Global Harbor, Changfeng Joy City, Changfeng Park, and the Suzhou Creek Half Marathon Park. These sites collectively provide a lively snapshot of Putuo district's dynamic cityscape and riverside development.
