2025 SCO Kunming Marathon draws 26,000 runners

On Sunday, over 26,000 runners from more than 20 countries and regions participated in the 2025 SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) Kunming International Marathon in Kunming, Yunnan province, marking the event's 10th year, according to Kunming Daily.
Asefa Boki Kebebe from Ethiopia won the men's marathon with a time of 2:08:49, and Meseret Belete Tola, also from Ethiopia, won the women's title, finishing in 2:28:29.
Chinese runners swept titles in the half-marathon as Yang Shaohui won the men's half-marathon in 1:07:56, and Li Qingqing triumphed in the women's category in 1:15:20.
