The 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum concluded on Sept 19.
During the "Closing Remarks" at the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, Du Nongyi, vice-chairman of China Institute for International Strategic Studies, spoke about history and the importance of establishing a sound view of history.
"Bearing history in mind is not to perpetuate hatred. Rather, it is for mankind not to forget its lessons," he said.
