Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army exhibit opens in Beijing

A Special Exhibition of Relics from the Sites of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army opened on Saturday at the Museum of the Communist Party of China in Beijing.

Hosted by the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Jilin Provincial People's Government and the National Cultural Heritage Administration, it is the first time that the 1,289 artifacts from the army sites have been displayed collectively.

Included in the exhibit are precious artifacts, archival documents, historical images and reconstructions of historical sites such as secret camps, outposts and combat fortifications.

The exhibit aims to highlight the remarkable efforts of the army, as well as the indomitable spirit and resilience of the Chinese people, and the role of the CPC as the backbone and pillar of the national resistance.

The exhibit is free to view and will remain open to the public until February next year.
