CPC has more than 100.27m members

Party membership continued to see positive changes in terms of its composition. The report revealed that about 57.79 million Party members, or 57.6 percent of the overall membership, held junior college degrees or above at the end of 2024, 1.4 percentage points higher than the level recorded at the end of the previous year.

By the end of 2024, the CPC had nearly 31 million female members, accounting for 30.9 percent of its total membership, up 0.5 percentage points from the previous year. The proportion of members from ethnic minority groups remained at 7.7 percent.

Workers and farmers accounted for about 33 percent of all CPC members.

Education and management of Party members have continued to improve, with the number of Party members receiving training in 2024 rising by 16.5 percent compared with the previous year.

Efforts were also made to strengthen primary-level Party organizations. At the end of 2024, there were 306,000 primary-level Party committees nationwide, an increase of 9,000 from 2023. The numbers of primary-level general Party branches and Party branches increased to 330,000 and about 4.61 million, respectively.

In 2024, village-level Party leadership was further enhanced, boosting efforts to drive rural revitalization across the country. At the end of 2024, there were nearly 485,000 secretaries of Party organizations in villages, 47.6 percent of whom held junior college degrees or above.
