Henan TV celebrates Duanwu Festival with mesmerizing live show
The live show "Adventures on Dragon Boat Festival 2025", presented by Henan TV to mark the Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, will be staged at 7:30 pm tonight (GMT+8).
The program integrates ancient time concepts with modern life rhythms, showcasing the traditions and cultural significance of the festival.
The show will kick off with "Dance of the Twenty-Four Solar Terms", a harmonious fusion of the 24 Solar Terms and intangible cultural heritage. Through a poetic narrative intertwining generational lore and seasonal transitions, this dance pays homage to the enduring vitality of culture and the innate spirit that binds all living beings. The stage comes alive with the vibrant drumbeats and spirited melodies of the Miao people, showcasing the distinctive cultural symbols of western Hunan province.
