Sino-French cultural ties bolstered in Western China through food

Sinodis, a subsidiary of the 69-year-old French dairy group Savencia, opened a chef studio on April 8 in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province in Southwest China, to provide high-quality ingredients and innovative food solutions, showcasing its long-term commitment and confidence in the Chinese market.

Denis Vergneau, general manager of Sinodis, noted at the opening ceremony, "Through the power of food, Sinodis will continue to build a bridge for Sino-French cultural exchange, bringing creativity and inspiration to food enthusiasts across China."

With its multi-temperature controlled distribution hubs in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu, Sinodis has over 10,000 direct and indirect customers across China.

Maria Girard, economic consul of the French Consulate General in Chengdu, also highlighted Sinodis' vital role in enhancing Sino-French cultural understanding and exchanges through food.
