At Beijing's more than 300-year-old Zhengyici Kunqu Theatrical House, model-actress and director Chang Chunxiao shared behind-the-scenesstories of her ongoing mobile-filmed documentary project, The People in the Time Tunnel, with Apple CEO Tim Cook on Monday.
Chang's film documents fashion photographer Feng Hai's role as an artistic styling consultantfor a newly adapted interpretation of the Kunqu Opera masterpiece, The Peony Pavilion, by the Northern Kunqu Opera Theatre in Beijing.
The documentary traces how Feng has referred to Ming-era image archivesto reconstruct the appearance of the characters.
